In this 2 hour experience, you’ll get 6 tastings of either Red or White Wine. The tastings in these courses explore wines at a wider variety of styles and price points. Covers the most popular grapes globally.

Throughout the event, we’ll taste and explore:

  • Common varietals and their attributes

  • Essential wine regions to recognize

  • Cool & warm climate wines

  • Deeper examination of the structure of wine

  • Farming, blending and aging methods and their impact on wine

Each participant will leave the experience with a customized wine related gift.

MORE THAN THE BASICS

For every stage of wine appreciation.

  • Covers the major AVAs of Napa Valley, CA. We will taste both red and white wines from some of the major sub-AVAs of Napa Valley. Learn about the different geographic components creating one of the world’s most famous wine-regions. Understand why Napa is so important to global wine production and its history to become so.

  • Make room to love other California AVAs in addition to Napa Valley. We will cover the other AVAs in California tasting red and white wines from Sonoma, the Central Coast and Lodi. Discover wines off the beaten path full of flavor and freshness.

  • Enjoy 90 minutes being transported to Tuscany, Italy where we will taste the primary Tuscan wines and pair them with classic Tuscan foods. Learn about how Italy organizes its wines, taste some of Italy’s most classic wine styles, and learn to pair them with standard Tuscan fair.

  • Learn about some of our favorites from the Northwest region of the United States. Taste reds and whites from this lesser known region, including world class Pinot Noir from Willamette Valley and bold Reds from Washington.

  • Learn all about different types of sparkling wine including the different methods to make sparkling wine and various regions producing sparkling wine. Taste authentic Champagne and other sparkling white wines. Learn how to select sparkling wines for any occasion at any price point.
